This article is right on. I almost feel like I wrote it. I really want everyone to stop asking me about my headaches and to stop giving me advice. They make me feel as if it is up to me to "be healed". I'm doing all I know how to do. Keep blogging!

Glad to have you back. You may find that writing down your thoughts helps you deal with the bad days. I remember the words that escape me by using the thesaurus on my computer. My meds have definitely messed with my short term memory. Luckily I have a wife of 23 years who can finish my sentences for me when I talk :)

Hello Andy. After a long absence, I think I will come back to blogging here.

I'm not going to keep track of days, but probably just blog about headaches and other events in my life.

How did the rearranging of the room go for you? I noticed in the last couple of nights I was sleeping differently. I just switched from 100mg to 150mg in the last week.

Also, did the weight loss stop? I've lost 10 lbs so far (in 4 weeks) and I can't afford to lose anymore. My Dr. says I'm not going to, but I can't even look at food.

Please come back, and continue blogging. I just found your site. I feel we are very similar. My wife is constantly looking at my face and asking, "what's wrong?". I don't whine every time my head is hurting. Just because I'm out of bed, doesn't mean, I'm not in pain. I like this letter and what it says to the people we love.

Bleh! I hate it when people give suggestions about what to do for your headache. I know they mean well and all, but still, ANNOYING! Good luck to you. I hope you find relief eventually.

Me too! I've had a headache for 10 months now. I've seen just about every doctor and alternative health practitioner in town and it's still here. I'm thinking about giving it a name.

I saw your blog a few weeks ago, and didn't realise EVERY post was about headaches until today - my heart goes out to you.

I'm sure you've tried all sorts of remedies; I'm going to recommed another couple:

1. Hypnotherapy - a wonderful tool for reframing and managing pain

2. Field Control Therapy - an amazing energy therapy that can diagnose and treat all sorts of problems

Make a few calls. I'm getting a headache just thinking about your blog.

I have the same malady. In the last 12 years have been to 8 or 9 neurologists, had 2 MRI's, and everything from acupuncture and chiropracty to botox injections in my forehead, with no positive results. But with Botox I had the smoothest forehead in town. I'm willing to try anything new.
As I write this I have a headache, but then I have a headache 99% of the time.
